Gallery Talk

Seeing Red: Renoir to Warhol explores the many meanings and associations of this powerful color in art. Spanning world cultures through a range of media, the exhibition features over 120 works by more than 70 artists, established and emerging, and classical to the contemporary.

FRANK OLT


Sunday, December 15 at 3 pm
Tour the museum gallery with Frank Olt, artist and esteemed Professor of Art at LIU Post. As we view his works, he will discuss his studio practice which focuses on his unique artistic process resulting in abstract works which are a hybrid of ceramics and painting. Olt has exhibited his art nationally and internationally. His public commissions include ceramic art installations at the 23rd & Ely subway station through the NYC Arts for Transit program and Bellevue Hospital.
